“Are You in Frank Kern’s Triangle of Trust?” written by Bren Koger.
Am I the only online entrepreneur that hasn’t heard of Internet marketing guru Frank Kern’s triangle of trust?
Frank Kern & Triangle Trust
I’ve been a big fan of Fran Kern for years so when one of the speakers at the recent Las Vegas event metioned Frank Kern’s triangle of trust I couldn’t wait to check it out.
Turns out it’s a simple concept with some pretty powerful ideas.
When marketing your product or offer Instead of hammering your list, and in the process ticking a lot of people off, by sending out email after email with a sales pitch or a link to an offer, there’s a better way. Provide value by pointing them to your blog post with an embedded video instead. “Check out my blog here.” sounds a lot better than “Click here” taking them to a sales page.
Reasons Why To Use the Triangle of Trust
Here are the reasons why:
- You are not only providing value with your blog, but using the word “blog” instead of website attracts a higher click through rate when sending out emails. This is because the word blog is more trustworthy. Instead of saying “check out my sales page” or “click here” to take them to an offer. You are taking them to a blog which is not perceived as a sales page
- Embed a video. Video is powerful because it builds a relationship and allow people to get to know you. People enjoy watching videos.
- The combination of a blog and embedded video with a subtle offer increases the likelihood that a person will click through to view the product or offer.
- If you are an online marketer you owe it to yourself to know about this simple and powerful technique.
