“Did you Know You Were Born to Create?” written by Bren Koger.
We are all born creators. It’s in our very nature.
If you have kids, you know what I mean. Almost everything they do is art. Creating is natural for them.
In fact, creation is in the very essence of all living things.
How would the birds know how to create a nest or the spider weave a web if It wasn’t inherent in their nature.
We Were Born to Create
We too are that very essence of creation and our hopes dreams and desires for more are our natural tendency for being creative.
The Natural Creative Instinct
The difference between us as adults and kids and animals is that kids and animals work more naturally on instinct. They don’t have to sift through all of the self-doubt to decide if they are good enough. They just naturally do what makes them happy
We, as adults, tend to get in our own way.
And unfortunately when we stifle the creative instinct and don’t feel worthy to pursue our hopes and dreams we are not creatively expressing our true selves. We don’t feel inspired, and simply go through the paces of our routine lives.
Losing the Creative Instinct
It’s then we begin to experience an undercurrent of dissatisfaction, and our internal light begins to dim.
In the book the Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles he says creating is what we are put on this earth to do.
We were created in Gods image as creators and desire is possibility seeking expression… function seeking performance.
“There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe. A thought, in this substance, Produces the thing that is imaged by the thought.Man can form things in his thought, and, by impressing his thought upon formless substance, can cause the thing he thinks about to be created.”- The Science of Getting Rich
When we stifle creativity this dissatisfaction will fester, eventually it can morph into feeling of frustration, jealousy, anger and potential violence.
When we are not creatively fulfilled, we are not at peace within ourselves, and that can reflect on all or our interaction and contribute to collective lowered energy.
Born to Create – Wakening Your Creative Instinct
Creativity doesn’t have to mean just writing, painting or pottery.
It can be whatever you are passionate about.
What makes you happy and would keep you up late at night?
What makes you lose track of time?
Know that you are born to create. You have a choice to live a life of freedom regardless of your circumstances. You have the choice to honor that spirit within,
by actively choosing to express your unique creative genius in your own inspired way you are contributing to the well being of every living thing.
We must choose to work together to accomplish desired goals, by lovingly supporting one another’s beautiful and creative brilliance.
The highest and best thing that we can do for all of humanity is to take that raw energy of who you truly are and choose to bring it into form, thus creating a life you truly love.
We were born to create.
May we have the courage to embrace our creative gifts and thoughtfully choose to share them with our world.
