What is Your Passion?
If you are going to write something regularly, and keep it interesting and fresh, you need to write about something that stokes your passion or that is a reflection of your daily experiences.
Politics. Even though everyone has an opinion about the subject, you may have a unique point of view that needs to be heard. And people my resonate with your personality that comes through the text.
Food. This can be reviewing restaurants, sharing recipes, or tips on baking, etc.
Movies. Include the trailer from the movie, and then talk about the movie itself. You can even go to YouTube and look for clips from your favorite scenes.
Sports. If you are a die hard fan for a sports team, you can connect with other fans by writing a blog about games and the team.
Your Business. A blog can be a great way to promote your business (or charity) and for connecting with customers. When combined with YouTube videos, blogs can be an amazing way to build attraction marketing for your customers, and make money online.
What Value Do you Want to Give People
OK, now that you have picked a topic that will motivate you to write your blog posts, how do you want to help people on that topic? Narrow your blogs focus down some more by considering if you want to do something along the lines of the following:
Teaching. If you know something on a topic… really anything… you can teach it. Even if you only know a little on a particular topic, you can still write about it and share with an audience. Guaranteed there will be people out that know less than you on a topic.
Talk about the news and trends. This can be about your favorite sections in the newspaper, or online article.
Be the motivator. Inspire people to be the best they can be.
Be the clown.Make people laugh If you are the type of person who. loves to make people laugh. You can talk about your experiences in a humorous way.
Also know what not to blog about. Your friends, coworkers, family , etc may take a dim view of anything on your blow if it blows open secrets. Know the limits – check with your human resources about workplace to make sure you are not doing anything outside of normal procedure.
