Most of the time you can ask them how well they are doing, if they are being groomed for success, and if they enjoy the company. I expect that they should like the company they belong to. Therefore I won’t say anything bad about their network marketing company.
It is a very poor idea to say anything bad about someone’s business… even indirectly like saying your company is the best at something. It will cause the other person to raise their resistance level. Most people with a network marketing company have a feeling of being part of a family. And it is never a good idea to insult someone’s family.
Instead it is better to grow a relationship by giving free advice and suggestions. Start to build rapport. Long term you can develop either a potential new team member, or even a colleague or future partnership. They may even just buy a single product from you that you are affiliate marketing.
This approached has worked very well for me. It creates a win-win for everyone long term!
